マルゼンテクニカ東名サニー
B110サニーが発売されて間もなく、日産からは何一つパーツがリリースされていなかった頃に、鈴木誠一氏が運営する東名自動車（現：東名パワード）が独自のノウハウでA12型エンジンと車体をチューン。そしてマルゼンテクニカ東名サニーを完成させた。1970年11月に開催されたストックカー富士200 マイルレースでのデビュー戦では、圧倒的優勢と見られたワークスカローラ勢を鈴木誠一氏のドライビングで一瞬で抜き去り華麗なる優勝を果たした。この当時にしてプライベートチームが大企業の巨大ワークスチームを打ち破るという事は前例の無い快挙であり、全国のプライベーター達に大きな希望を与えた。日産もこの快挙によりサニー用レーシングパーツを積極的にリリースし、それと合わせてTSレース(マイナーツーリング)はサニー一色になるほどのサニー人気になった。
